We are seeking a professionally registered (Pr Eng) Structural Engineer with strong experience in mining and industrial structures. The successful candidate will lead structural design projects conduct site assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage structural engineering projects within mining environments
Design and review structural steel and reinforced concrete structures (e.g. conveyors headgears crushers process plants and workshops)
Conduct structural inspections condition assessments and site investigations
Prepare technical reports calculations and design documentation
Ensure compliance with relevant codes standards and safety regulations
Mentor junior engineers and technicians
Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams contractors and clients

Minimum Requirements:

BEng / BSc / BTech in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professionally registered Engineer (Pr Eng) with a relevant governing body
Minimum 810 years structural engineering experience with significant exposure to mining projects
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. Prokon Tekla SAP2000 and ETABS)
Strong knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete design
Experience with brownfield and greenfield mining projects
Willingness to travel to mine sites as required
