Job Summary

Job Role: Senior AI Agent Engineer

Location: Charlotte NC

Must Have: AWS Bedrock Claude (LLM) Python AWS Lambda

Value Technology Inc is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to design and implement complex agentic AI solutions using AWS Bedrock.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build agentic AI solutions using AWS Bedrock (Agents Knowledge Bases Guardrails)
Engineer advanced prompts (ReAct Chain-of-Thought Tree-of-Thought Plan-Execute)
Develop serverless AI workflows with AWS Lambda Step Functions EventBridge
Integrate LLM agents with APIs tools and external systems (LangChain Bedrock AgentCore)
Optimize prompts for accuracy cost latency and reliability
Implement AI safety guardrails and evaluation frameworks
Collaborate cross-functionally; mentor prompt engineers
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance

Required Qualifications:

5 9 years software development experience
3 years prompt engineering / AI/ML experience
Strong AWS Bedrock experience (Agents KBs Guardrails FMs)
Deep knowledge of LLMs (Claude preferred)
Strong Python and AWS serverless (Lambda Step Functions API Gateway DynamoDB S3)
Experience with IAM KMS VPC security best practices
Experience with Terraform CI/CD pipelines
Strong API design & integration experience
Experience with autonomous agent frameworks (LangChain)
