Job Title: Sr. Azure AI Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled hands-on Azure AI Engineer with a strong developer mindset to design build and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions using Microsofts AI ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a senior technically strong engineer with deep experience in Azure AI Copilot Studio AI Foundry and LLM-based application development rather than a data scientist or purely ML-focused professional.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement AI-powered applications using Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI and Copilot Studio (including Copilot Studio Agents).
• Build and customize Copilot solutions integrated with Microsoft Teams and other M365 tools.
• Develop and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures using Azure AI Search embeddings and LLMs.
• Build secure scalable backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI/Azure Functions) and/or C where applicable.
• Implement Microsoft Entra ID (Entitlements & RBAC) for secure access control in AI applications.
• Work closely with enterprise stakeholders to translate business needs into technical AI solutions.
• Optimize performance latency and cost of AI solutions in production. Implement logging monitoring and governance for AI models and Copilot workflows.
• Apply best practices for prompt engineering hallucination control and AI safety.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry (experimentation prompt flow model management deployment).
• Deep experience with Copilot Studio and Copilot Studio Agents (Must).
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI LLMs and RAG-based architectures.
• Strong software development background (Developer mindset not Data Scientist).
• Proficiency in Python (APIs backend services integrations).
• Experience with C for performance-critical or system-level components.
• Experience building and securing REST APIs in Azure.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI solutions with Microsoft Teams and M365.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID security and entitlements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure Functions Logic Apps or App Service.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform).
• Experience in enterprise AI governance compliance and auditing

Work Site: Iselin NJ / New York NY (Manhattan)

Duration: 6 Months
