CAE NVH Engineer Location: Newark
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CAE NVH Engineer to support the design and optimization of electric vehicles through advanced computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis. This role focuses on solving Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) challenges at component subsystem and full-vehicle levels.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in meshing structural/dynamic analysis and problem-solving with hands-on experience using OptiStruct.
Key Responsibilities -
Design and resolve NVH issues in electric vehicles.

Perform CAE simulations to support concept development and parametrization processes.

Conduct NVH analyses at:
-
Execute component-level NVH CAE analysis.
-
Perform meshing and structural/dynamic analysis using OptiStruct.
-
Support correlation studies between physical test data and CAE simulation data.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BIW Battery Systems Chassis Interiors Exteriors).
-
Improve modeling methodologies and CAE processes for enhanced NVH performance.
Required Qualifications -
Bachelors or Masters degree in:

5 7 years of relevant CAE/NVH experience.

Strong expertise in:
-
Meshing (100% hands-on expected)
-
Structural & dynamic analysis
-
NVH problem solving
-
Correlation between test & simulation data
-
Experience with OptiStruct required.
