Job Summary

Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Experience: 5 8 Years
Location: All BSL Locations (India)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with 5 8 years of hands-on experience in designing developing and maintaining automated test solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation frameworks testing tools and a solid understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks
Create and execute automated test scripts for web API and/or mobile applications
Analyze test results identify defects and work closely with development teams for resolution
Perform regression smoke sanity and integration testing
Ensure test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Review test cases automation code and test strategies
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives
Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 8 years of experience in Test Automation
Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or UFT
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java Python JavaScript or C#)
Experience with test frameworks like TestNG JUnit NUnit or PyTest
Good understanding of Manual Testing concepts and STLC
Experience in API automation using tools like Postman Rest Assured or similar
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab or Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter LoadRunner)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Experience in mobile automation (Appium)
Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
