Job Summary

Electrical Engineer with a strong background in capital project engineering is needed for the construction of a mill currently in West Virginia. This is a direct employment situation at the corporate level. This is NOT a contract job. No need to relocate. The company needs someone who can be in West Virginia for at least a year and then travel to other places. This job will require regular travel.

You will be provided with a housing stipend and bi-weekly travel expense for trips to home in addition to salary and regular benefits.

Develop the scope and specifications for capital purchases.
Develop plans to mitigate risks as part of the project plan.
Track and forecast project schedule.
Work with vendors and contractors during the bid and contract phase.
Provide technical assistance to the plant instrument/electrical technicians for safety issues National Electrical Code compliance and electrical problem resolution.
Work closely with operating management and personnel and with outside contractors and vendors.

Qualifications :

REQUIREMENTS

BS Electrical Engineering plus at least three years experience as an Electrical Engineer in a heavy manufacturing plant or in the construction of a manufacturing plant. Must have strong Project Engineering experience working in a team especially with capital projects (CAPEX).

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of all facets of PLCs industrial control and drive experience required. Allen Bradley Siemens
Control systems design and tuning HMI development (Wonderware)experience desired.
Familiarity with industrial networks variable drive systems
Understanding of high voltage machinery preferred

Perform layered safety audits hazard assessments and safety observations.
