Job Summary

Role: UI/UX Eclipse RCP/SWT Developer

Location: Houston TX (Onsite)

We are looking for a UI/UX-focused Eclipse RCP / SWT Developer to design and build high-performance applications using Eclipse RCP OSGi SWT and JFace. You will work closely with product UX and engineering teams to deliver intuitive accessible and scalable user interfaces. This role requires strong desktop UI engineering skills combined with practical UX understanding to create seamless efficient user experiences.
Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline and minimum 10 years of related experience.
Strong hands-on experience in Eclipse RCP development (plugins features products).
Solid understanding of OSGi concepts: bundles lifecycle services dependency management.
Strong expertise in SWT (layouts events widgets custom controls).
Good working knowledge of JFace (viewers dialogs wizards actions).
Advanced proficiency in Core Java (Java 8) OOP design patterns.
Experience with UI responsiveness/performance: background jobs avoiding UI freezes large dataset handling.
