Job Summary

A leading grower/importer/shipper of domestic and international fruits has a terrific opportunity for a Sales Support & Replenishment Specialist. The company is expanding and hiring due to their growth. Seek a detail-oriented multi-tasker who can work well with team members and departments to support the organization.

Position based at the companys Los Angeles office. Experience with Famous software and domestic / import fresh produce supply chain desired.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Involved in daily communication regarding product availability inventory and pricing
Manage orders and daily changes based on communication with Sales Management Cold Storage Logistics and Accounting.
Help with Food Safety programs customer compliance needs and certifications
Assist with the monitoring aging of receivables and communicate with customers regarding out of term invoices

Responding in a timely manner to incoming email and phone inquiries
Gathering market and customer information
Working with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
Checking quantities of goods in stock
Gaining a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements
Making accurate rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
Outside cooler inventory management and communication daily
Coordination of outside and internal trucking and dispatch
Sales order entry via Famous and retail ordering systems
Update and create sales excel files as needed
Setting up shipments of documents via UPS
Desired Attributes and Experience Include:
Knowledge of the fresh produce industry preferred
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail

Able to use internet-based sales and purchasing programs database programs and shipping/inventory systems among others. For Example: EDI iTrade Foodlink Retail Link.
Experience with Famous software and Excel. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
Bilingual with English-Spanish preferred but not required.

Salary: 70-80K Medical Benefits 401K
