As a Transactions Specialist II in the Plastics Warehouse your primary responsibilities will include coordinating reviewing and producing files from Retail and Credit lines of business for mail distribution; offering clients services such as First Class Standard Class USPS Express USPS International Express and UPS presentment; and providing daily reconciliation and validation of all files received to ensure compliance with client service level agreements.
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare materials insert and perform quality checks on materials within our department
- Complete all required documents for our processes
- Manage the UPS/USPS shipments in our department
- Process exception requests received such as Pull & Destroy
- Lift and move mail trays weighing up to 50 pounds
- Work in all areas/departments of production as needed and contributing to meeting team goals
- Make judgment calls regarding routine duties but refer non-routine situations to a supervisor and/or manager
Required qualifications skills and capabilities:
- Ability to lift 40-70lbs and deliver 200 lbs. supplies utilizing industrial pull/push carts
- Must be able to work overtime as production demands
- Must be able to stand/walk for an 8 to 10 hour shift
- Must be able to meet and maintain Quality and Productivity standards
- Must be able to adapt to a change in the work environment included but not limited to: daily directives from leadership changes to standard operating procedures and new technology
- Must be team-oriented with solid interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain daily positive internal and external interactions building upon team-driven success
- Able to prioritize assigned work daily based on client Service Level Agreements
- Willing to participate and maintain departmental work area maintenance (5S)
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 1:00pm - 9:30pm
This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise. Work schedule might be subject to change.
