The Infotainment & AI department is responsible for innovating and evolving the in-vehicle infotainment system for US customers with the ambition to deliver a best-in-class market-leading infotainment experience. By combining software platforms AI capabilities and customer-centric design the department drives differentiation and customer satisfaction across the Mercedes-Benz portfolio.

The Staff Experience Project Manager owns the end-to-end delivery of complex infotainment experience initiatives across multiple teams and workstreams. This role operates at a strategic execution leveldriving alignment resolving cross-functional dependencies and ensuring that experience priorities are delivered with high quality predictability and impact.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Own end-to-end planning and delivery of large cross-functional infotainment initiatives
    • Structure ambiguous experience initiatives into executable programs and milestones
    • Drive alignment across Product Management UX QM Engineering Data Science and global stakeholders
    • Manage dependencies risks and trade-offs across multiple workstreams
    • Lead complex planning execution and release coordination activities
    • Act as a trusted execution partner to Staff and Principal-level PMs UX and Architects
    • Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation strategies
    • Provide clear executive-ready status reporting and recommendations
    • Improve project management processes tools and operating models across the org
    • Mentor and guide junior project managers
    • Role requires close collaboration with US and global stakeholders
    • Occasional travel may be required
    • Job responsibilities may evolve based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Business or a related field.
    • 7 years of relevant work experience
    • Strong ability to drive execution in complex matrixed organizations
    • Proven experience leading large-scale software or digital product initiatives
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
    • Ability to operate independently and influence without authority
    • Experience with Agile hybrid and scaled delivery models
    • Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones
    • Standing and sitting for long periods of time
    • Ability to get in and out of test and production vehicles as needed
    • Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with infotainment automotive or consumer technology products
    • Experience supporting UX- or customer-experience-driven initiatives
    • Experience working with global and market-facing organizations
    • PMP SAFE Agile or similar project management certification
