About the area
The Directorate of Student Life and Community is part of the UWA Education Portfolio and supports the student journey from access and enrolment through to graduation. It delivers services across Student Equity and Success UWA Sport Medical Centre Integrity and Standards Unit and Student Wellbeing and Engagement. Its work includes academic support wellbeing services and programmes that enhance the student experience in partnership with the Student Guild residential colleges and the wider Education Portfolio. Student Wellbeing and Engagement provides integrated services that support the UWA Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework and the Safe Respectful and Inclusive Communities Framework. The division includes complex case management early intervention and wellbeing services counselling student onboarding support for international students and primary prevention and clinical responses to gender-based violence.
