Highlights of your role
- Operate woodworking equipment to produce quality wood products
- Assistengineers and production leadershipwith creatingmodifyingandtestingto ensure machines run smoothly with capable processes
- Train and supportoperatorsonmachine operation preparation setup and basicmaintenance
- Identifyways to improve set up times reduce costs improve processes and grow profitability
- Promotea culture of safety bymaintaininga clean and safe work environment encouraging operators to do the same
- Developand implementtooling configurations toimprovemanufacturingeffectiveness
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years ofmachine operationand mechanical experiencein a manufacturing facility
Also want to make sure you have
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 10 hours per day
- Ability to perform repetitive hand wrist and arm motions
- Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.
- Mechanical training or certifications preferred
