- Identifying and coordinating responses to risks and information
- Coordinating community mobilisation efforts and ensuring effective activation of supporter voices at key campaign moments

Minimum requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences Public Policy Political Studies Communications Marketing Development Studies or a related field is (advantageous)
- Experience in a social media management related role
- Experience in programme management event coordination or network building (advantageous)
- Experience in stakeholder engagement campaign coordination or community mobilisation (advantageous)
- Knowledge of DA Policy
- Knowledge of online community organising principles
- Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook Instagram X TikTok YouTube etc)
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite or Google Apps Suite)
Skills:
- Written and verbal communication
- Administration and attention to detail
- Time management and coordination
- Creativity
Abilities:
- Multi task
- Build and maintain relationships
- Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations
- Be outcomes-orientated not simply task-orientated
- Work independently
- Apply sound judgement

- Commitment to the principles policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
- Willingness to go the extra mile which may include working long and irregular hours weekends and public holidays where necessary
