Come join our team! Mobius is seeking aDigital AI Development Engineer. In this roleyou will bepart of our Systems Engineering technical team providing support to the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Product Office at the Missile Defense Agency.This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the mission by supporting GMD digital AI development at MDAs Huntsville AL location.
Duties of aDigital AI Development Engineer may include:
- Design and implement AI pipelines for data ingestion processing and model deployment using frameworks such as LangChainand OpenWebUI.
- Develop and manage embeddingsdatabases to enable semantic search recommendation engines and other AIdriven capabilities while integrating solutions with cloud platforms like Azure Foundry to ensure scalability reliability and security.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams will be essential as you gather requirements and deliver tailored AI solutions that align with business objectives.
- OptimizeAI workflows for performance and efficiency ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
- Stayingcurrent onadvancements in AI tools frameworks and methodologies will be key to enhancing pipeline performance and you will document processes workflows and best practices to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.
Qualifications
- 3 years of related work experience
- Working understanding of AI pipelines including data processing model deployment and integration
- Understanding of frameworks such asLangChain OpenWebUI and embeddings databases
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages with a focus on AI and data processing libraries
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Education
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related STEM field
