Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement engineering solutions to collect process and exploit RF signals.
- Apply advanced knowledge of digital communications principles including signal detection estimation demodulation and related techniques.
- Develop modeling approaches create proofs-of-concept iterate on prototypes and deliver mature operational systems.
- Build and optimize real-time signal processing applications often involving multi-threaded algorithms in C/C and Python on Linux platforms.
- Collaborate in distributed team settings while maintaining high autonomy and ownership of technical deliverables.
- Document work effectively through excellent written and verbal communication including technical reports presentations and code documentation.
- Contribute to code management practices using tools like Git.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (with polygraph preferred where applicable).
- Proven experience developing solutions for RF signal collection processing and exploitation.
- Strong knowledge of digital communications theory and techniques (detection estimation demodulation).
- Demonstrated ability to create modeling techniques proofs-of-concept prototypes and transition them to operational systems.
- Proficiency in C/C and Python development.
- Systems development experience within Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Defense environments.
- Familiarity with code management/version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or a closely related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge of Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms and development.
- Familiarity with X-Midas (a portable networked signal processing and analysis environment commonly used in SIGINT/RF applications).
- Understanding of geolocation theory and techniques.
- Experience operating in complex or challenging RF environments.
- Knowledge of wireless air interface protocols across various standards.
- Expertise in multi-threaded signal processing algorithms implemented in Python/C on Linux hosts.
- Comfort working effectively in distributed cross-functional team environments.
