Role Objective
To lead and scale the Chemicals & Specialty Chemicals coverage franchise driving high-value domestic and cross-border M&A and capital market mandates.
Key Responsibilities
-
Own Chemicals sector coverage and revenue targets.
-
Originate large domestic and international M&A transactions.
-
Advise promoters on stake sales strategic partnerships structured deals and capital raising.
-
Leverage global supply chain shifts (China1 EU sourcing diversification) to identify deal opportunities.
-
Build strong relationships with promoter-led chemical groups and global strategic buyers.
-
Drive cross-border inbound and outbound transactions.
-
Lead negotiations at promoter and board level.
-
Develop institutional investor connectivity within manufacturing-focused PE funds.
-
Build and mentor sector-focused execution team.
Core Experience Required

Demonstrated track record of closing Chemicals / Manufacturing deals.

Deep understanding of specialty chemicals value chain and margin cycles.

Strong promoter relationship management capability.

Experience in complex asset-heavy valuations and structured transactions.
