About the Opportunity

Programmed are seeking a skilled Service Division Manager to lead and grow our Service Division within our Electrical Technologies business unit. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of strategy policy programs and procedures to achieve agreed performance outcomes.

This role will be crucial in driving operational excellence ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contribute directly to profitability and sustainable growth. You will oversee our major maintenance contracts while also taking ownership of financial performance reporting and business development initiatives.

This permanent full-time role is based out of our Hindmarsh office and offers someone the chance to help continue to grow our businessparticularly strengthening and expanding our AV offerings within South Australia.

Due to the nature of the role being involved with our National Defense team and projects you will need to able to obtain ASIC or Australian Government security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full P&L accountability including budgeting forecasting cost control and margin improvement
  • Oversee job closures invoicing tender submissions and quote approvals
  • Monitor contract performance against KPIs and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Lead the safe timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance and service contracts
  • Oversee key client relationships and ensure service levels and customer expectations are met
  • Review estimates support workforce planning and ensure accurate reporting and internal controls
  • Lead mentor and support Project Managers and Coordinators to drive high performance
  • Foster a culture aligned to PET values supporting engagement development and succession planning
  • Proactively build and maintain client relationships to drive new opportunities and revenue growth
  • Support expansion of service offerings particularly within AV and communications

About You

To succeed in this role you will be an experienced service leader with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to manage both operational delivery and financial performance. You will be proactive in client engagement and confident in driving growth initiatives.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a P&L within a service construction engineering or technical environment
  • Strong experience in service delivery project or contract management roles
  • Strong understanding of service delivery methodologies and systems management
  • Proven experience interacting with clients in a proactive front-of-house or sales capacity
  • Experience overseeing budgets cost control and forecasting
  • A background in electrical services / communications experience highly desired
  • Able to obtain ASIC or Australian Government security clearance
  • Experience in preparing and submitting tenders and managing contract documentation highly desired
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills
