Job Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chinese Chef to lead daily operations of the Chinese kitchen. This role oversees food production kitchen staff supervision menu execution compliance safety and quality control to ensure consistency and operational excellence.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in preparing and cooking Chinese cuisine
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP FDA USDA and food safety regulations
  • Manage daily production schedules to meet quality and ready-time standards
  • Maintain inventory control stock rotation and requisition processes
  • Monitor food quality presentation and consistency
  • Oversee sanitation hygiene and workplace safety standards
  • Assist Executive Chef with menu development and recipe documentation (Mandarin writing required)
  • Train kitchen staff on preparation techniques and safety procedures
  • Complete administrative tasks including scheduling logs production sheets and payroll data entry
  • Manage manpower planning and support Executive Chef as needed


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chinese Chef or in a leadership kitchen role
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and batch recipe development
  • Experience supervising kitchen staff and managing daily production
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Ability to write recipes in Mandarin
  • Strong leadership organizational and problem-solving skills
