System Engineer - Distributed Edge Architecture - 15 yrs of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly Required
Halogen Engineering is looking for a System Engineer who will provide technical and process recommendations conduct technical analysis of alternatives and provide configuration management. You will assist in planning developing deploying securing and operating the Information Technology Infrastructure (for all domains) across the customer enterprise. You will assist in developing transition plans and processes related to services that include data links networks government communication systems interfaces and processing systems. This also includes assisting with the standardization of these services so that enterprise tools are developed within the organization and our technologies. You will also assist the Government Team in ensuring the required activities associated with collaboration services are completed and assist in the relocation of Agency collaboration tools.

Salary Range
The projected compensation range for this position is 205K to 211K (annualized USD).
Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements
Requirements
- Must have the ability and proven experience building customer systems. Experience with data flow and architecture systems integration data processing and storage data governance and smart data tagging.
- Experience with Distributed Edge Architecture.
- Must be able to communicate requirements work products progress and deliverables schedules to senior level civilians and military personnel.
- Experience in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue and evaluating requirements to determine system suitability.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within an expected time schedule.
- Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.
- Intelligence Community (IC) experience.
- Experience with requirements gathering design synthesis and system design.
- Must have familiarization with customer infrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science information systems engineering or related discipline plus at least 15 years of systems engineering experience
OR
Masters degree or PhD can substitute for two years of experience
OR
High school diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience.
