Schedule: Day Shift 5x7.5-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM 2:30 PM)
Duration: 16 Weeks
Pay Rate: $57$62 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 16-week school-based contract assignment in the Colorado Springs CO area. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment supporting students with speech language communication and related disorders.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
Provide evidence-based therapy services to improve communication skills and functional outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation including evaluations treatment notes progress reports and discharge summaries.
Collaborate with teachers school staff and interdisciplinary team members to support student success.
Educate families and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home-based strategies.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and recommendations.
Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as appropriate.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA district policies and professional standards.
Participate in staff meetings continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the clinical supervisor.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Colorado State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or CFY eligible.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles assessment tools and evidence-based practices.
