As the Chief of Staff- Technologyyoullwork closely with thetastytrade/ IG Americas technology leadership team tooptimizeand streamline operations for thetastytradefamily of companies. You will play a critical role in aligning efforts with strategic priorities accelerating feature delivery and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence during a transformational growth period fortastytrade.Reporting to the regional CTO of IG North Americayoullalso collaborate closely with the Brokerage CTO Head of Product Delivery and Head of Design toexecute onhigh-priority projects and drive organizational transformation.

What Youll Do:

• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the regional CTO helping to translate high level divisional strategy into tactical goals and their supporting initiatives cascading those goals through the technology team setting priorities and driving execution.
• Work onspecial projects for the technology leadership team to streamlineoperationsandtest new cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational efficiency ensuring alignment across engineering product compliance andthenewly formedbusinessoperationsteam.
• Track and reportkey performance metrics within the technology organization.
• Help to coordinate communications planning and decision-making processes to support thetechnology teamandbe aliaisontoother businessstakeholders.
• Act as a cultural steward promoting diversity inclusion anda growthmindsetwithin the technology team andthroughout the organization.
• Identifyand manage high-impact opportunities for improvement in processes tools and workflows to scale with a global brokerage.
• Drive initiatives to develop andretaintop engineering talent cultivating leadership pipelines and technical excellence.

Who You Are:

• Experience:5-7years of experiencein managing projects that involve software engineers. Although youdontnecessarily need to have a software engineering or infrastructure background you need to be familiar with concepts inthe space.
• Naturally Curious:You will need to rapidly absorb and contextualize informationin order toquickly become conversant in new concepts and need the humility to quickly and honestly acknowledge whenyoureout of your depth.
• Communication:Exceptional written and verbal communicator skilled at distilling complex material and concepts into straightforward language which everyone in our business can understand.
• Relationship Management:Proven ability to build and manage relationships with technicalteams executives and external partners.
• Strategic Thinking:Strong bias for action capable of setting priorities and executing in fast-paced environments.
• Detail Orientation:Youllbe interacting with and externallyrepresentinga technology function and organization which holds itself tohigh standards. Building andmaintainingcredibility within this team will require precise attention to detail and an exacting standard of quality in your work product.

Salary Range:$120000 - $150000
The actual salary offered will be based on the candidates level of experience and qualifications

Discretionary Performance Bonus:15-20% of base salary based on individual and company performance
