NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Arranger to join our team at Chapel of the Chimes - Oakland. United by a common desire to serve Funeral Arrangers at NorthStar share a pride in their profession that extends beyond the workday. The Funeral Arranger is responsible for providing a source of support guidance and direction to families before during and after the loss of a loved one. This position also manages all phases of the funeral arrangement including the removal of the deceased selecting and setting up funeral services to final disposition.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and assist with funeral and memorial services for families
- Prepare the memorial area for the family before the services start
- Maintain reverence and respect for the deceased at all times
- Ensure that all federal state and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed
Qualifications
- A caring heart and a passion for helping the community in need
- 1 year of funeral industry experience preferred but not required. We will train the right person.
- Professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner
