This role is a hybrid position - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home so applicants must live in New York NY NJ and be able to commute to the office.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate interview scheduling manage followup communications and support hiring committee preparation.
- Assist with candidate outreach initiatives.
- Support talent acquisition programs including campus recruiting and summer associate hiring.
- Organize summer associate work assignments training sessions and social events.
- Assist with scheduling and logistics for new hire orientation.
- Track and monitor local recruiting budgets.
Talent Development
- Coordinate local associate relations events and inhouse attorney training programs.
- Collaborate with global Talent Development colleagues to execute firmwide initiatives including coaching programs and training academies.
- Monitor Associate Relations and Professional Development budgets.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in special events which may occasionally require evening and/or weekend availability.
- Travel as needed to support programs and initiatives.
- Contribute to additional related projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Proficiencies
- Advanced proficiency of English grammar spelling and punctuation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Strong experience coordinating training programs and events.
- Foundational understanding of campus recruiting or legal recruiting practices.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment.
- 2 years of experience in human resources law school career services attorney recruiting and/or attorney development (preferred).
- Bachelors degree required.
