Your role your impact
As an Early Years Specialist you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 08 and their families through the Early Childhood Approach. Youll collaborate with a diverse team of Allied Health professionals Social Workers and Inclusive Education specialists to deliver evidenceinformed familycentred supports that help children thrive.
Your work will focus on partnering with families building confidence and capability and supporting children to participate meaningfully in the everyday environments that matter most to them.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver evidenceinformed supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals
- Use assessments observations and childdevelopment expertise to tailor supports to each child and family
- Empower families and caregivers through coaching in everyday routines and environments
- Facilitate community inclusion by linking families with local supports activities and services
- Maintain accurate records of conversations progress goals and supports in the NDIA business system
- Support families to navigate NDIS access planning and implementation pathways
Who were looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or Education
- Strong understanding of child development including identification of delays or concerns
- Experience supporting children with developmental delay or disability
- Knowledge of the Early Childhood Approach early childhood intervention best practice and the NDIS
- Collaborative strengthsbased practitioner with excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to inclusive familycentred culturally safe practice
