Job Summary
Clow Valves Machine Shop has an opening for a 2nd Shift Shipping Forklift.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am
Starting Wage: $27.29; Qualified Wage: $27.67
Health insurance available after 60 days
$500 sign on bonus after 120 day probationary period.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people objects and other forklift traffic.
- Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
- Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations. Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
- General Clean up of work area
Qualifications :
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to operate moving vehicles including crane truck or forklift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand up to 2 hours per day.
- Ability to utilize PPE including: safety glasses hearing protection metatarsal guarded boots and others required.
- Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.
