Engineer III

The Electrical/Electronics Engineer will ensure the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration. The Electrical/Electronics Engineer will work with program stakeholders development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing on-site engineering support and research of SIGINT/IO/EW/CSO systems
• Identifying deconflicting and orchestrating integration of innovative technology being developed throughout the community
• Planing testing and providing technical expertise to the identification of innovative technology within the community
• Evaluating vendor capabilities to provide required products and services
• Analyzing interpreting and generating engineering schematics and change notices
• Performing system and performance modeling
• Conducting root cause analysis
• Designing hardware with respect to component/assembly analysis specification integration and testing
• Providing RF system/subsystem analysis and specification review
• Providing engineering support to the process of integrating novel solutions to existing Programs of Record (POR)
• Providing transition support of newly identified and innovative technology to existing PORs

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

• Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
• Six years of full-time professional experience working as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer
• Four years in professional experience in each of the following skillsets/disciplines:
  • Performing systems engineering activities on Cryptologic Carry-On Equipment (COE) or Electronic Warfare (EW) Programs involving fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence programs ashore and afloat
  • Demonstrated engineering experience on U.S. Navy and warfare systems and their systems integration process as it relates to distribution systems impacts mission performance and interoperability impacts
• Three years of experience professional experience in each of the following skillsets/disciplines:
  • COE/EW concepts and operations deployment
  • Radio Frequency (RF) design and analysis (e.g. propagation prediction measurement receiver modeling analysis and design detection and signal characterization processing non-cooperative demodulation processing for signals of interest and antenna array modeling)
  • Operating Systems experience in Windows and Linux

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL.
