How youll contribute:
The Education Coordinator functions under the general supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer and is considered part of the nursing management team. The Clinical Educator assumes responsibility for all activities related to assessment coordination planning implementation and evaluation of educational programs to patient care staff and collaborates with others to provide facility-wide programs. The Clinical Educator supports the development of the bedside care provider and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based nursing practice and is instrumental in creating a professional nursing climate. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission of Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Demonstrated ability to plan coordinate evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
Additional requirements include:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a bedside care delivery
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
