We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Operations Specialist to join our BAO Technical Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with expertise in Azure DevOps SQL Kubernetes and troubleshooting operational & user issues.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 8 years of experience in IT technical operations or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in scripting cloud services and development methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL querying language for database management and reporting.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and its microservices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as DataDog Splunk AppInsights & Log Analytics
- Handson experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment. Understanding of pipeline creation and management is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross functional teams.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure AWS DevOps) are a plus.
- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and task orchestration.
- SQL & PowerShell scripting is ideal experience with Datadog or Splunk is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions in alignment with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot issues with Kubernetes via kubectl and/or management tools such as Rafay or Docker.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts for database management data manipulation and reporting purposes.
- Utilize DataDog for monitoring troubleshooting and optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
- Advise on monitoring and work with the team to enhance existing monitoring to improve our ability to respond to issues.
- Analyze logs and metrics using Datadog Splunk or native tools to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration deployment and delivery using Azure DevOps.
