Walsall Council is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Service and help turn data into insight that improves outcomes for our residents.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys working with complex datasets you will support performance management and analysis across the Council but predominantly in Adult Social Care producing high-quality reports dashboards and insights to inform evidence-based decision making and drive continuous service improvement. The role works collaboratively with services and senior colleagues to develop performance systems enhance data quality and create meaningful reports and visualisations using tools such as SQL Power BI and Excel contributing to the delivery of policy service and transformation objectives across the organisation.

  • Collaborative Communicator: Build effective relationships and communicate complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders.

  • Technically Skilled: Proficient with relational databases and tools such as Power BI SQL and Excel with a willingness to learn new analytical approaches.

  • Organised: Manage competing priorities effectively delivering accurate work on time and maintaining strong attention to detail.
