Chicago Launchpad Internship 2026 | Compositing

Framestore Chicago is looking for the next generation of VFX talent with a passion for compositing (Nuke/Flame) to take part in a 4-month paid internship working in our award winning Compositing team.

Our internship program is focused on developing the candidates skills in a production environment. You will be matched with a mentor who will provide instruction and regular reviews of your work in addition to inclusion in the day-to-day workings of our Compositing team. You will work alongside experienced artists attend project reviews and take creative briefings.

The internship will start on June 8 2026 and finish on September 25 2026.

Internships will be conducted in a hybrid model. Please make sure you have internet access for your remote days and that you are within a commutable distance to the Chicago studiofor onsite days.

• A working knowledge of Nuke or Flame

• A reel showing a wide range of shots and a creative eye

• A pro-active and collaborative work ethic

• A strong eye for detail composition color and lighting

• Knowledge of practical lighting for photography

• A working knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline

Internships are paid at $21 per hour. Candidates must have current work authorization for the USA and be available to work 40 hours a week. No financial relocation assistance will be offered.
