Job Summary
Join Long of Chattanooga AutoMall as an Automotive Technician at our Long Honda of Albany location. We are seeking a skilled and motivated technician to diagnose maintain and repair vehicles ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable dealership in Albany GA with competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs including oil changes brake services and tire rotations.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding needed repairs and vehicle status.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines transmissions brakes and electrical systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
- ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience required
- Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment - alignment equipment
- Diagnoses maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems.
- Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
