A prominent healthcare organisation is seeking a seasoned General Manager: Operations to lead and optimise performance across a national primary healthcare division. This role calls for a strategic solutionsdriven leader with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and oversee complex operational environments.

The successful candidate will drive operational initiatives that enhance service delivery strengthen organisational performance and support the expansion of accessible highquality primary healthcare services across South Africa.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years senior operational management experience within primary healthcare or a related healthcare environment
A relevant Allied Health/ Clinical tertiary qualification - NQF Level 7 is essential
A postgraduate qualificationsuch as an MBA or equivalent NQF Level 8will be highly preferred
Strong understanding of the healthcare sector including key revenue and cost drivers
Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into operational outcomes
Proven experience leading multiple direct reports across diverse functions
Solid knowledge of financial and business management principles
Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management and effective negotiation
Understanding of publicprivate partnerships within healthcare
Comprehensive knowledge of the legislative and business environment governing healthcare
