Job Summary

Be a part of a new initiative within Scopes Employment Pathways division that creates meaningful employment opportunities for people with a disability who have expressed an interest in developing skills in cleaning.

As our newCleaning Crew Coordinator reporting to the Property Care Team Leader you will empower supported employees with a disability to build skills confidence and independence while delivering highquality cleaning services.

This role is ideal for someone with a growth mindset who enjoys handson work is comfortable cleaning and leading by example and is passionate about mentoring others while creating an inclusive safe and supportive environment.

  • Monday to Friday 8-4pm.
About the role:
  • Coach and mentor supported employees in cleaning tasks equipment use and safe work practices
  • Allocate daily cleaning tasks and ensure work is completed to a high standard
  • Provide on-the-job training that builds new skills for people with a disability
  • Undertake cleaning duties across Scope offices including bathroom kitchen and general areas
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain cleaning records
  • Comply with Scopes workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role and/or experience supporting people with a disability.
  • Clear communication high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • Current NSW Drivers License (P2 and above)
  • WWCC NDISWC First Aid and CPR NDIS Orientation Module
