The National Account Manager Aftermarket Channels is responsible for sales growth and account development in assigned aftermarket territories and customers. The role focuses on independents dealers OES warehouse distributors and large distributors that sell and service commercial highway vehicles.

This position builds and maintains relationships with key decision makers drives revenue and margin growth and expands TSE Brakes share with current and new accounts. The role also supports fleet growth opportunities where aftermarket customers service shared fleets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own sales results for assigned aftermarket territory and accounts including revenue gross margin dollars and share growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Parts Managers Service Managers purchasing contacts and executives at key aftermarket customers.
  • Manage both direct and indirect channels in the territory including independents dealers OES warehouse distributors and large distributors.
  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly territory plans that define target accounts growth opportunities and specific actions.
  • Promote TSE Brakes product lines introduce new products and support promotional and service programs with assigned accounts.
  • Lead pricing and program discussions with customers within company guidelines in coordination with the VP of Sales & Marketing.
  • Assist aftermarket customers in joint sales calls with fleets and other end users in their region.
  • Conduct and support regional and national trade shows training events and customer meetings to promote TSE Brakes products and capabilities.
  • Analyze market trends competitive activity and customer performance in the territory to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations Engineering and Marketing to address customer issues support new product introductions and execute promotions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline account and activity data in company sales tools and provide required reports such as forecasts territory business plans and opportunity updates.
  • Represent TSE Brakes brand products and capabilities in a professional manner at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • 610 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in the commercial highway vehicle aftermarket or industrial distribution.
  • Direct and indirect sales experience through independents dealers warehouse distributors or OES channels.
  • Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets in a territory or account management role.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling heavy truck trailer or brake-related components.
  • Existing relationships with aftermarket distributors dealer groups or OES organizations in the commercial vehicle market.
  • Experience working with fleets in partnership with aftermarket customers.

Skills and Competencies

  • High energy self-starter comfortable working with limited structure and building processes as needed.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growing territories accounts and programs.
  • Strong commercial acumen including comfort with pricing programs contribution margin and negotiation.
  • Comfortable with technical products and solutions in the commercial highway vehicle market.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize accounts and actions for impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentations to customers and internal teams.
  • Strong organization planning and follow-through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Travel Expectations

  • Travel is greater than 75% of the time based on key business needs including customer visits trade shows and internal meetings.

Reporting line

  • Reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Performance Focus

  • Territory revenue and gross margin growth.
  • Share of customer spend and account penetration with key aftermarket customers and buying groups.
  • New account acquisition and development.
  • Effective execution of pricing and program strategies including buying group and national programs.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs at a time.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally stoop kneel bend or twist
  • Regularly required to stand walk sit and talk or hear
  • Travel will be required and frequency will be based on key business needs
