Job Summary:

The Third Party Risk Manager is primarily responsible for managing the companys third party risk management initiatives. This includes but is not limited to vendor management client due diligence and managing certain high risk items as it relates to Alvieres client and merchant role may also assist the compliance risk and security departments with other administrative duties as required.


This position requires an individual with strong personal initiative with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with fellow employees and senior management in written report and presentation form.


Personal qualifications include a professional demeanor with strong financial organizational and analytical have a high level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task and work with personnel across departments while maintaining a high degree of independence integrity and dependability.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implement the companys Vendor Management Policy; manage the full cycle of the initial and ongoing third party vendor management process for the company.
  • Measure and track merchant portfolio performance; work with clients and internal counterparts to implement remediations where required.
  • Measure and track the performance of client banking services and card programs; work with clients and internal counterparts to implement remediations where required.
  • Conduct necessary annual and quarterly due diligence reviews for client programs.
  • Be the lead and main point of contact for the third party risk team and external auditors for SOC 1 2 and PCIS.
  • Assist the compliance risk and security departments with administrative duties as required.



A successful Third Party Risk Manager will have the following:

  • Experience in banking and payments.
  • Experience managing risk and completing the due diligence process for third party vendor relationships.
  • Experience conducting financial analysis.
  • Moderate understanding of Dodd Frank / CFPB Reg.E consumer compliance rules and regulations
  • Moderate understanding of requirements under Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) & Service Organization Controls (SOC) as it relates to vendor management.
  • Experience working within a regulated money transmission environment is a plus.
  • Proven attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • High self-initiative and strong group leadership abilities.
  • Quick efficient highly organized and able to get up to speed rapidly.
  • Excellent presentation verbal and written communication skills.
  • At ease multi-tasking under tight deadlines.
  • Fast-paced start-up environment preferred.
  • Experience with both Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite products.
  • Minimal travel but must be able to travel if required.

Education: Bachelors degree preferably in accounting or equivalent accounting or financial analysis experienceCAMS CFE CRCM a plus.

Years of experience needed: 2-5 years of experience managing third party risk.



In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the expected salary range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience skills and location. This position is eligible for Company bonus and equity.
