Job Summary

One of our manufacturing clients in Chatham Kent ON is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their facility.

Pay - $90K TO 100K

Shift - Days/Afternoon

Responsibilities:

Diagnosing and repairing plant equipment including electromechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Interpreting diagrams and technical drawings to establish work procedures.
Installing aligning and dismantling industrial machinery and mechanical components such as pumps fans sensors and motors.
Ensuring adherence to standard procedures such as coolant quality control check valve monitoring and black line water changes.
Cleaning lubricating and conducting preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Keeping precise records and following up on assigned tasks including addressing deficiencies within specified timelines.
Responding to equipment breakdowns using the current maintenance request system including assigning personnel recommending replacement parts and performing repairs.
Collaborating with Plant Management on planning and executing long-term projects including developing tasks schedules and milestones to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.
Ensuring completion of PM Program tasks tracking and reporting daily updates to Plant Management for scheduling maintenance on equipment.
Modifying updating and refining the PM Program in collaboration with Plant Management including incorporating Operators PMs.

Qualifications:

Skilled trades certification or 5-10 years of Supervisory/ management experience in a manufacturing environment
Mechanical background with experience working in assembly lines and tool/machine shops
Knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment
Some knowledge of PLC controls an asset
