Position Overview:
The Vice President of Finance will oversee financial strategy reporting and analysis across Tract Capitals real estate investment development and operating platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting strong internal controls and insightful financial analysis to support acquisitions development asset management and capital markets activities.
The VP of Finance will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership working closely with investment development accounting tax and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead long term financial planning forecasting and ad hoc analysis across closed ended real estate funds
- Develop financial models and performance metrics to support decision-making
- Build and scale finance processes and systems appropriate for a growing real estate platform
- Partner with investment and development teams to support acquisitions underwriting dispositions development budgets and capital planning
- Partner with IR on long term cash flow management capital calls distributions and liquidity planning
- Support capital markets activities including financings refinancings and investor reporting
- Manage relationships with lenders investors auditors and external advisors
Required Traits Expertise and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- 10 years of progressive finance experience
- Prior experience within real estate investment development private equity real estate or a family office with significant real estate holdings
- Bachelors degree required
- MBA CFA or CPA preferred
- Real estate finance and reporting: 810 years
- Financial modeling and underwriting: 7 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting large-scale development or infrastructure-adjacent real estate
- Background spanning both investment and operating environments
- Experience scaling finance functions within a growing real estate platform
Expected Salary Range: $200-250K plus bonus potential
