Job Summary
Job Title : IT Infrastructure - Tools and Automation
Experience : 7-11 Years
Location : Chennai
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and support Linux environments from basic to advanced administration
- Design implement and maintain automation frameworks using Ansible or similar tools
- Develop and maintain scripts using Shell/Python for automation and operational efficiency
- Configure and manage monitoring/observability platforms (ELK or equivalent)
- Support infrastructure stability through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize tools workflows and system performance
- Assist in deployment configuration and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure tools
- Ensure smooth operations across hybrid environments including basic VMware Storage and Windows support
- Implement automation best practices to reduce manual efforts and improve reliability
- Participate in incident response root cause analysis and preventive improvements
Requisites
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Shell scripting and/or Python
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (ELK Dynatrace Datadog or similar)
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of VMware Storage and Windows environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work in automation-driven infrastructure environments
