Job Summary

Job Title : IT Infrastructure - Tools and Automation

Experience : 7-11 Years

Location : Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and support Linux environments from basic to advanced administration
Design implement and maintain automation frameworks using Ansible or similar tools
Develop and maintain scripts using Shell/Python for automation and operational efficiency
Configure and manage monitoring/observability platforms (ELK or equivalent)
Support infrastructure stability through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize tools workflows and system performance
Assist in deployment configuration and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure tools
Ensure smooth operations across hybrid environments including basic VMware Storage and Windows support
Implement automation best practices to reduce manual efforts and improve reliability
Participate in incident response root cause analysis and preventive improvements

Requisites

Strong Linux administration skills
Hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible or equivalent)
Proficiency in Shell scripting and/or Python
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (ELK Dynatrace Datadog or similar)
Good understanding of networking fundamentals
Basic knowledge of VMware Storage and Windows environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work in automation-driven infrastructure environments
