Start Date: May 25 2026

Term:Full Time Seasonal (June 1 2026 - August 31 2026)

Timescale:35 hours / 5 days per week (maximum 40 hours per week)

Location: RMA Office in Canmore other locations in the Bow Valley and Kananaskis. Hybrid work-from-home available.

Working Conditions: Shared office environment potentially required to work in an active outdoor environment

Wage: $18 - $19 per hour (commensurate on certifications and experience)

Report to: Operations Manager


Position Overview

The Program Administrator will support the Program team to ensure the smooth operation of RMAs summer programming. They will support the Operations Manager Program Coordinator Bookings Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator with staff scheduling general inquiries and coverage of administrative duties on weekends among other tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented able to multitask reprioritize tasks on short notice communicate effectively and be passionate about our mission to empower individuals through sports and recreation.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in entering staff schedules and shift notes:

  • Enter new shifts for lessons and regular programs

  • Update current shift notes with participant and volunteer information

  • Assist with administrative tasks:

  • Review lesson report forms and feedback surveys and forward relevant information to members of the programming team

  • Assist with other data entry or system upgrade projects as needed


Requirements

  • Qualifications:

  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check

  • Standard First Aid (AED/CPR C)

  • Related post-secondary education (Business Administration or related field) and asset

  • Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Google Suite (Docs Sheets Mail) and booking software/systems (Better Impact Homebase Checkfront) an asset

  • Experience working with people with physical sensory and/or neurodivergent challenges an asset


Eligibility Criteria

This position is funded through the Canadian Government Summer Jobs Grant Program. Eligible applicants must be 15 to 30 years of age and a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident in order to apply.
