AECOM is seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to join our team in a full-time hybrid position. This role is ideal for someone ready to step in take ownership of contract equipment packages and help drive major projects forward. Responsibilities
- Take ownership of contract equipment packages from award through delivery
- Help track materials and equipment to ensure they arrive on schedule
- Work with Procurement and Project Management teams to support key project milestones Assist Project Managers Design Teams Clients and Suppliers with resolving questions and issues
- Help follow up with suppliers for required documents and track submittals
- Support coordination of inspections RFIs and provide project updates
- Assist with reviewing payment applications
- Help prepare change orders and site instructions in line with project procedures
- Support compliance with contract requirements and project specifications
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering business or equivalent or Diploma Certificate 2 years of related experience in contract administration procurement or commercial roles within project-based environments (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience managing contracts from start to finish in either construction engineering infrastructure or water and wastewater projects would be considered an asset
- Basic understanding of how construction projects move from design to completion
- Comfortable working on a team and able to adjust when priorities change
- Good communication skills and willing to ask questions and solve problems
- Able to work independently with guidance while supporting team efforts
- Basic understanding of contracts and how project agreements work
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Takes responsibility for assigned tasks and follows them through to completion
- Pays attention to details while understanding overall project goals
