We are looking for a subject-matter expert to join our experienced team specialising in auditing within Energy Management and CO₂ verification. If you have indepth knowledge of CO₂ verification and calculations along with solid technical insight into the relevant EU legislation you could become part of our team as Service this role you will be responsible for maintaining our technical expertise planning audits and verifications as well as conducting audits and verification activities yourself. There will also be opportunities to teach on specialised training courses.
You will work closely with some of the most exciting organisations in Denmark where CO₂ accounting plays a strategic role. You will engage with a wide range of industries primarily in Denmark and we are looking for someone with practical experience preferably across multiple sectors.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing verification plans for EU ETS in collaboration with customers
- Conducting CO₂ audits and verifications
- Keeping the organisation and internal systems up to date with the latest legislation and requirements
- Acting as a technical beacon within the field ensuring we maintain a high professional standard
In addition you will actively maintain and develop your qualifications ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and meet any other internal or external standards. You will also take on the role of team leader for audit teams hold project management responsibility particularly for larger key accounts provide technical support to the sales team and contribute to the development of new services and training offerings.
ResponsibilitiesA role as Service Responsible and Lead Auditor where a strong independent personality and the ability to navigate complex situations with ease are essential
- A dynamic workday that can be busy at times combining onsite audits working from home and office-based tasks
- A permanent full-time position with a start date before the summer
- Office location: You may be based at any of our offices in Hellerup Aarhus Aalborg Esbjerg or Fredericia

Qualifications- At least four years of practical experience in relevant work
- Knowledge of and interest in the EU ETS regulatory framework
- Experience with CO₂ calculations and verification
- An energy-related background preferably with a relevant qualification such as energy engineer marine engineer mechanical engineer or a similar education
- Experience with Energy Management ideally as an ISO 50001 Lead Auditor
- Auditor qualification preferably ISO 50001 Lead Auditor and ideally also ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
- Strong IT skills excellent communication abilities at all organizational levels and fluency in both Danish and English spoken and written
