Summary
- This 1-month contract with a local authority aims to promote positive educational outcomes engagement and progression for pupils particularly those in Years 12 and 13 who are NEET pupils with SEND and those with wider vulnerabilities. The role involves supporting attendance engagement transitions and tailored interventions by collaborating with schools families and multi-agency partners. The postholder will ensure effective tracking planning decision-making and implementation of support to help young people thrive in both mainstream and specialist learning environments.
- Report to the Inclusion Lead and manage pupil information across corporate systems.
- Record monitor and analyse data related to pupil progress attendance and engagement.
- Provide accurate reports to support planning intervention and review meetings.
- Work with identified pupils (including NEET SEND or vulnerable learners) to remove barriers to learning.
- Support pupils academic social and emotional development through targeted interventions.
- Ensure pupils understand available educational vocational and progression opportunities.
- Prepare pupils for successful learning transitions into mainstream or specialist settings.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience working with children and young people ideally including those with SEND or additional vulnerabilities.
- Experience delivering educational pastoral or inclusion-focused interventions.
- Experience liaising with families schools or multi-agency professionals.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Level 3 qualification or above in Education Youth Work Social Care or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Training in safeguarding/child protection (or willingness to complete).
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- The role is fully remote.
- Please note we work on bi-weekly payment.
