Job Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Redbridge to assist with the appointment of a Housing Officer on a 4-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 140.20 - 185.00 per day
Summary:
Opportunity for a Housing Officer to support vulnerable residents in sustaining their tenancies. The role involves managing tenancy issues addressing anti-social behaviour and working with partner agencies to ensure residents can live safely and independently.
Responsibilities:
- Support residents to maintain tenancies and manage rent
- Identify vulnerable tenants and provide support or referrals
- Manage anti-social behaviour cases and resolve issues
- Work with agencies on mental health hoarding and support needs
- Provide guidance complete forms and signpost services
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in housing tenancy sustainment or similar role
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations confidently
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
