JOB OVERVIEW
The CAD Operator will support the design and delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure works for the Pakil Pumped Storage Project. The role focuses on digital terrain modeling civil infrastructure design and BIM-based coordination ensuring accurate high-quality models for construction and planning purposes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) using survey and LiDAR data.
- Model civil infrastructure including roads earthworks cut-and-fill volumes underground works and spoil disposal areas using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Maintain correct project base points and coordinate systems to align models with Revit and other BIM deliverables.
- Collaborate within a Level 2 BIM environment and use CDE tools (ACC / BIM 360) for model sharing and coordination.
- Support engineers and BIM teams in resolving modeling and design coordination issues.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Geomatics or related technical field.
- Experience: 6 years in civil infrastructure projects with proven exposure to large-scale infrastructure works.
- BIM & Software: Minimum 3 years in Level 2 BIM environments; expert in Autodesk Civil 3D; InfraWorks knowledge preferred.
- CDE Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; PRC license is preferred. Minimum of 10-15 years of engineering experience in electrical and/or mechanical works for hydropower plants pumped storage projects power plants or large-scale infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience with E&M systems such as turbines generators pumps transformers switchgear protection systems auxiliary systems or balance-of-plant equipment. Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (IEC IEEE NEC ASME ISO OEM standards and local regulations). Proficient in Microsoft Office AutoCAD and basic project tracking tools (e.g. MS Project or Primavera). Strong understanding of installation testing and commissioning processes for E&M equipment. Willingness to work 100% onsite with flexibility to be assigned in either Rizal or Laguna project locations. Strong coordination documentation and communication skills. Proactive detail-oriented and committed to safety quality and project delivery.
