Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer (BSW) Mountain View CA (Hybrid)

Drive the future of automotive mobility by designing high-performance computing platforms for a global automotive leader. This senior technical role focuses on developing reliable base software (BSW) and leading critical system bring-up for next-generation vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Core Development: Design and implement BSW components including BSP MCAL bootloaders and OS services.
System Integration: Lead board bring-up HAL integration and low-level driver development while resolving complex hardware-software interactions.
Quality & Strategy: Drive improvements in diagnostics automated testing (CI/CD) and software quality through static/dynamic analysis.
Technical Leadership: Mentor engineering teams lead tech stack selection and guide strategic launch plans.
Collaboration: Partner with hardware teams on component selection and interface with third-party vendors for stack tuning.

Requirements

Qualifications

Experience: 10 years in BSW development with a track record of bringing systems to mass production.
Technical Mastery: Expert in C C Java and HTML5 with deep knowledge of RTOS and embedded architectures.
Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of ISO 26262 functional safety vehicle EE architectures and HPC software.
Education: Bachelors in Computer Engineering or related field; Masters preferred.
