Job Summary
A residential care organization is seeking a compassionate and dependable QMAP-certified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care and medication support in a group home setting. This role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities while ensuring safe and compliant medication administration per Colorado state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting mobility and transfers
Administer medications as a Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) following state and organizational guidelines
Observe residents for changes in physical or mental condition and promptly report concerns to supervisors or nursing staff
Accurately document resident care and medication administration in a timely manner
Assist with meals hydration and participation in recreational or therapeutic activities
Maintain a safe clean and structured living environment
Follow infection control safety and confidentiality policies
Deliver respectful person-centered and compassionate care
Qualifications
Active Colorado CNA certification required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Experience in group homes assisted living or long-term care preferred
Strong communication observation and documentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a care team
