Job Summary
Job Title: RN Manager Labor & Delivery
Location: Davie FL
Schedule: Full-Time Days (No Weekends)

A modern 165-bed acute care hospital in Davie FL is seeking an experienced RN Manager Labor & Delivery to lead its Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/Newborn (PNU) departments.
The facility offers comprehensive services including maternity care emergency services orthopedics oncology neurosciences and more within a collaborative and growing healthcare environment.
Position Summary
The RN Manager Labor & Delivery provides leadership and operational oversight for the Labor & Delivery and PNU units ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality patient care. This role is accountable for regulatory compliance staff performance departmental outcomes and operational efficiency in alignment with organizational goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Labor & Delivery and PNU departments
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (TJC CMS AHCA)
Manage staffing scheduling performance evaluations and departmental goals
Monitor budgets productivity and operational efficiency
Collaborate with physicians clinical leaders and hospital administration
Promote patient safety quality outcomes and excellence in maternal/newborn care
Qualifications
Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (meeting Florida requirements)
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
NRP certification required within 90 days of hire
STABLE certification required within 60 months of hire
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required within 60 months of hire
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $42.36 $62.00 (based on experience)
