Gastroenterologist

The role focuses on the evaluation diagnosis and management of patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. The physician will collaborate closely with primary care providers surgeons hospitalists and oncology teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based digestive care. Essential Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including GERD IBD liver disease pancreatic disorders and colorectal conditions

• Perform endoscopic procedures such as EGD colonoscopy and other diagnostic and therapeutic interventions

• Evaluate and manage inpatient GI consults as needed

• Interpret imaging pathology and laboratory results related to digestive health

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery and oncology

• Provide patient education on disease prevention nutrition and treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical guidelines

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Training: Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship

• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Licensure: Active Washington State medical license (or eligibility)

• Experience: Open to experienced physicians and new graduates
