Job Summary
A dynamic organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Coordinator to manage full installations of electronics and audiovisual systems along with coordinating supporting services such as electrical civil painting aluminium/glass and flooring/tiling work.
This role requires a technically strong handson individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high standards of quality timelines and contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan budget tender and oversee installation projects.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to completion.
- Conduct onsite supervision site establishment progress tracking and quality control.
- Manage and coordinate contractors and subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
- Resolve issues proactively and escalate risks when appropriate.
- Perform office-based administrative tasks and reporting.
- Use project management software (PPO experience beneficial).
Minimum Requirements
- 5 years experience coordinating or leading electronics or audiovisual installation projects.
- Proven experience handling all stages of a project:
- Planning
- Budgeting
- Tendering & awarding
- Contractor start-up
- On-site supervision
- Troubleshooting & completion
- Hands-on technical experience installing electronics-based systems such as:
- Access control
- CCTV
- Audio-visual
- Fire or burglar alarms
- Other low-voltage systems
- Ability to work independently take ownership and solve problems without constant supervision.
- Strong decision-making ability in fast-paced project environments.
- Experience managing contractors and ensuring quality delivery.
- Willingness to split time between office work and on-site supervision.
- Must be willing to reside in Potchefstroom.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software tools.
Advantageous Experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Project scheduling
- Progress tracking
- Reporting
- Experience managing multiple projects (up to 60 simultaneously) ranging from R100000 R1.5m.
- Full AZ site supervision including:
- Site establishment
- Coordinating installation teams (electrical building electronics aluminium/glass etc.)
- Resolving site issues
- Ensuring budget and timeline compliance
