About your opportunity
As the Senior Database Administrator you will primarilybe responsible forthe on-going rollout support development maintenance and administration of theLabWareMobileDatabase andsupport other Operational databases asrequired. As theLabWareMobile Administrator you willbe responsible formaintainingthe configuration of the application to ensure the integrity reliability and performance of the database ismaintained. You will lead requirements gathering and solution design workshops with stakeholders and external consultants; provide technical inputs in solution design; and implement new functionality/upgrades following a strict change management protocol.
This roleis responsible for:
Leading the configuration management and administration of Operational static data withinLabWare including mobile device management sampling points tests limits and programs
Leading the configurationmanagementand administration of Operational Visual Workflows (dashboards) withinLabWare
Delivering remote technical support forLabWareMobile users efficiently troubleshooting software defects hardwarefailuresand connectivity issues tominimiseoperational downtime
Developing standard operating procedures deliver end-user training and provide on-site go-live support tofacilitatesmooth system deployments and user adoption
Gathering andanalysingLabWareMobile end-user feedback toidentifyimprovement opportunities and lead continuous improvement projects thatoptimiseworkflows and system functionality
Leading the planningvalidationand implementation of system version upgrades adhering to change management controls and governance standards to ensure stable production environments
Observing andcomplyingwith allSeqwaterwork health and safety quality and environmental management systems and procedures
In all dutiescomply withthebehaviouralexpectations set out in The Way We Work (SeqwatersCode of Conduct) and our policies and procedures

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess
Tertiary Qualification in Science (computer biological chemical or environmental sciences) or relevant engineering discipline.
Strong demonstrated experience with database management and protocol development including data manipulation analysis and writing intermediate level SQL queries.
Knowledge of operational water treatment plant laboratory processes and the Quality Assurance and Quality Systems principles and practices.
This position has a salary range of $132746 - $145422 (dependant on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation and is a2 year max term contract with the possibility of turningpermanent.
